The protester confronted him over his stance on the war in Iran before being restrained and detained by police, while Pahlavi was escorted to his car and left the area.
Earlier in the day, Pahlavi reaffirmed his support for US and Israeli strikes on Iran, describing the campaign as a “humanitarian intervention” aimed at toppling the current government. He told reporters at the press conference that strikes on the government's infrastructure and its instruments of coercion were, in his view, in line with what many Iranians had called for
