- I pray for God’s mercy for souls we have lost
- My condolences to their grieving families and to our educational community, and wish them patience
- Our Ministers of National Education, Family and Social Services, Interior, Justice, and Health have arrived in Kahramanmaraş to personally oversee the process to help all the affected citizens
- I humbly ask our nation not to give credence to false or misleading news and disinformation-laden posts
- I kindly request all segments of society, starting with our press members, to exercise necessary care
