26-year-old Palestinian artist Areej al Saafin in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza was injured in an Israeli air strike and lost one of her eyes. She now creates drawings using charcoal made from burned wood on the walls of her home, after losing her artwork and materials during the genocidal war.
