Iran has announced a partial reopening of its airspace, along with the gradual resumption of operations at several airports starting at 03:30 GMT on April 18.
According to the Civil Aviation Organisation, international flights are now permitted to transit through eastern Iran, while domestic airport activity will be restored in phases based on operational readiness from both civilian and military authorities.
The move follows weeks of heightened tensions after a joint US-Israeli offensive on February 28, which prompted Iranian retaliation across the region. A Pakistan-mediated ceasefire has been in place since April 8, with ongoing talks aimed at reaching a longer-term agreement.
