Israeli military strikes killed five Palestinians in a police vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Emergency teams transported the casualties from the wreckage of the destroyed vehicle as crowds gathered at the scene.
The attack comes amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 2025. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, these violations have so far resulted in 972 Palestinians killed and 2,235 injured since the truce began. The Gaza government media office has recorded over 2,400 ceasefire violations by Israel, including killings, arrests and blockade measures
