A federal appeals court decision limited access to the abortion pill mifepristone, which is used in roughly two-thirds of all abortions in the U.S. “The abortion rights movement is far more prepared for a catastrophic decision like this” than it was when Roe v. Wade was overturned four years ago, says The Nation’s abortion access correspondent @amylittlefield. She says telehealth providers are “pivoting to a misoprostol-only protocol.” Misoprostol is another common abortion pill often used in combination with mifepristone.
