A 15-year-old boy opened fire in a school in Argentina Monday, killing a pupil and wounding eight other people, officials said.
In a country where US-style school shootings are rare, this violence played out in the central city of San Cristobal, the provincial government said. The suspected shooter was taken into custody, said a source in the provincial security ministry.
