Additionally, and in my capacity as Chairperson of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), I further presided over the swearing-in of 12 judges to the COMESA Court of Justice, entrusted with the solemn mandate of interpreting and upholding the COMESA Treaty.
