We have partnered with AMSONS Group to strengthen maternal and newborn healthcare to safeguard the lives of mothers and children.
Through this strategic partnership, AMSONS Group is investing KSh4.5 billion in grants for the construction of 10 mother-and-child hospitals in Nairobi, Kwale, Kisumu, Uasin Gishu, West Pokot, Mombasa, Garissa, Embu and Nakuru counties.
Each hospital will include an antenatal section, a maternal ICU, labour, delivery and recovery sections, and two operating tables, alongside other essential equipment.
We are also exploring additional partnerships to deliver a further 14 hospitals, expanding access to underserved regions across the country.
