In the second day of the FFD Forum, ECOSOC had sessions on the Sevilla Commitment, international financial architecture, and a Special High-level meeting with the Bretton Woods Institutions.
During chairing the Special High-level meeting with the Bretton Woods Institutions, I stressed that the Forum takes place at a critical juncture for the global economy and for sustainable development. This moment of crisis once again underlines the importance of implementing the Sevilla Commitment.
Our discussions build on the strong ECOSOC–BWI partnership, reinforced by the February consultations in Washington, D.C and also reflect ECOSOC’s ongoing engagement- serving as a key bridge between the UN and international financial institutions. #FFD4 #FinancingOurFuture 🔗 bit.ly/4cpWZ7B
