I addressed today the opening of the 29th session of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development - #CSTD. I stressed that “we meet at a time when technological change is outpacing our ability to govern it, with far-reaching implications for our economies, our societies and our collective future.”
We must ensure that “we cannot allow innovation to become a driver of exclusion” but instead make it “a force for inclusion, equity and sustainable development.”
Closing digital divides, expanding access to technology, and strengthening cooperation will be essential to ensure that no country and no community is left behind. 🔗 bit.ly/4sOagMh
