Today it was an important opportunity to participate in the Africa Regional Session of the #ECOSOCYouth Forum. Africa is the youngest continent in the world, with nearly 60 per cent of its population under the age of 25.
Each year, 10 to 12 million young Africans enter the labour market, offering immense potential to drive inclusive growth, innovation, and transformation. This is a powerful opportunity – a demographic dividend – but only if matched with sustained investment in education, skills, jobs and inclusion. #2030Agenda #GlobalGoals #SDGs
