Twenty-Nine Members and Associates of Jersey City Drug Trafficking Organization Arrested with Narcotics and Firearm Offenses
U.S. Attorney Robert Frazer:
"Our mission is simple: Protect the people of New Jersey. Drive down violent crime. Shut down the flow of dangerous drugs into this District. This week, we have done just that.
In the cases announced yesterday and today, we have:
•Seized approximately 55 kilograms of deadly fentanyl
•52 kilos of methamphetamine
•Over 5 kilograms of cocaine, including cocaine base or “crack”
•A total of 23 firearms, including some that were stolen
•Over $160,000 drug proceeds
•And we have charged over 30 individuals with serious federal firearms and drug offenses.
Our work is not done. We will continue to protect the citizens that we serve."
