I enjoyed meeting with Japanese Minister of Finance @satsukikatayama yesterday to reaffirm the strong alliance between our nations and maintaining even-closer communications, and to thank her for Japan’s leadership on energy and financial issues.
I highlighted @OIS Assistant Secretary Chris Pilkerton’s recent engagements in Japan and pledged the @USTreasury’s strong support for @MOF_Japan as they explore pathways towards the implementation of their own investment screening mechanism.
