Yesterday, I toured the Smith Cove Blue Carbon project to see the work that @PortofSeattle is doing to slow ocean acidification, which threatens marine life in the Puget Sound.
This is innovative work — transplanting kelp and eelgrass to absorb carbon pollution and reestablishing native oysters to filter the water — to combat the climate crisis here in Seattle.
