Today I met with Jonathan Johnson, Saba’s longest-serving Island Governor. It was great to talk with him about his experiences over the past 18 years.    We also discussed Saba’s ties with its neighbouring islands, particularly in relation to food security, and the progress of the various infrastructure projects on Saba, including Black Rocks Harbor, which is so important for the island’s future economy.    I’m sure that for the people of Saba it must feel unreal that Governor Johnson will be stepping down soon. I thanked him very much for his important work for this beautiful island.
