Daniel Luz is 92 years old - and a survivor, twice.
As a child in France, he lived through the horrors of the Holocaust. Decades later, Hamas terrorists nearly reached his home in Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7.
In spite of all this hardship, he still says he hopes for peace, even if he may not live to see it - “My grandchildren will. That is what matters most.”
This Yom HaShoah, he will light a torch at the Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony held at Kibbutz Yad Mordechai.
