Following last week’s Artemis II achievements, and as @NASA prepares for future lunar missions, researchers from the @WeizmannScience helped identify where ice is most likely hidden at the Moon’s South Pole.
Scientists created a simulation that maps permanently shadowed “cold traps”. In the simulation, areas in white and light blue show regions that never see sunlight, meaning they stay cold enough to preserve ice for billions of years.
