In December, we launched a partnership between Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) and Florida Prepaid College Savings Plans. Just four months later, more than 13,000 families have already used the seamless application process to open a college savings account while enrolling their children in VPK. All those who opt-in get a $100 bonus and have a chance to win a monthly drawing for a $1,000 scholarship.
Through Florida Prepaid, families can purchase various plans at a fixed cost to lock in future tuition based on current pricing—which has not increased at all during my administration. Great to see so many Floridians electing to take advantage of this opportunity for their kids!
