I welcome the release of the European loan for Ukraine, which sends a very strong signal of our determination to continue standing by Ukraine’s side. The agreement reached on the 20th package of sanctions is also a clear message to Russia.
We held a comprehensive discussion on our defence cooperation, on the need to further increase pressure on Russia’s war economy, and on the work we are carrying out as part of the Coalition of the Willing.
Our support will not weaken, either today or tomorrow. Europe keeps its promises, and it will stand firm.
