Pandemics don’t respect borders and we need strong multilateralism to protect global health security. The #COVID19 pandemic demonstrated this clearly, and it is vital that we preserve and strengthen the lessons learned.
Emergencies spur innovation, but we need long-term vision to sustain these wins. The WHO Hub in Berlin is a key initiative born from the pandemic, driving innovation to better detect health threats and supporting Member States to strengthen their capacities to detect and respond to health crises.
