I thank the International Organisation of the Francophonie and the Group of Francophone Ambassadors for their commitment to multilateralism, for science, and for the most vulnerable.
Meeting ahead of the World Health Assembly, we discussed the Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing system (PABS) annex to the WHO Pandemic Agreement and the reform of the global health architecture to meet challenges and maximize opportunities.
We also discussed the reforms undertaken by @WHO which have stabilized the organization and reinforced its independence, and supporting Francophone countries countering diseases amid declining global financing for health.
