Three paramedics were injured while on duty in an early morning strike in #Lebanon’s Deir Kifa.
Since the start of further escalation in Lebanon on 2 March, @WHO has verified 152 attacks on health care that resulted in 103 deaths and 241 injuries. These attacks have resulted in the closure of three hospitals and 41 primary health centers and caused damage to a further 16 hospitals.
As WHO works closely with local authorities and partners to address and restore the damage to health care, we call on all parties to take concrete measures to protect patients, health care facilities, health transportation, and health workers.
