On Free Cone Day, Ben & Jerry's cofounder Ben Cohen called on owner Magnum to sell the brand, saying it is stifling their social activism.
Magnum says the company is not for sale. “We remain fully committed to the Ben & Jerry’s model and its three-part mission — product, economic and social.”
